Loriana organized a wonderful 15-day tour of Molise and Puglia for my family and I, filled with unforgettable experiences and people.

The trip opened our eyes to these lesser visited regions and all they have to offer. From the magical trulli of Alberobello to the stunning views from Polignano Del Mare – we visited town after town that had us awestruck by the uniquely beautiful scenery and architecture.

So much was packed into the 15 days – it was like 3 trips in one. We went truffle hunting in Bosso, sailed on a private yacht to the Tremiti islands, learned to make orecchiette and gnocchi by hand, toured an award-winning Caciocavallo cheese factory, visited the ancient ruins of Saepinium - and met so many beautiful people along the way.

Each day was thoughtfully planned but always with enough room to discover and explore. We were able to really immerse ourselves in the towns we were visiting, with Lori always there providing context and translation.

Lori took our interests to heart and went out of her way to ensure we got everything we wanted from the trip. She even arranged to have us meet with the records person from the mayor’s office of the small Molise town where my family traces our roots. With Lori’s help, I was able to locate several missing pieces of information about our family history. We simply could not have accomplished this without her.

This was not our first visit to Italy but it was our most special. Thanks to Lori we have a much deeper appreciation of what it means to live (and to eat and drink😉) like a true Southern Italian. If that’s the kind of authentic experience you’re after, look no further than Molise Cuisine Tours.

My family and I connected with Loriana from Molise Cuisine to create an ad hoc day while we were in Molise. She created an amazing itinerary for the day. Definitely go to Caseficio Di Nucci & Campane Marinelli while near Agnone!
